Deep In the Motherboard
4/17/2016 - Seattle
Outside, stuck on the outside
Outside, demise is so cold. I need You.
Inside, the strongman is hogtied.
Inside, so fucked, but I crawl back to Your side.
Inside, alone on the outside
Inside, the bloodiest bride
Outside, the blackest of night sky
Outside, Your hand's within reach—and I’m Yours.
I'm waiting for You.
I'm burning alive in this fire until You come through.
Out of my mind and I hate it
I tried playing the way that You played it
Salvation is close but I'm losing control
You promised me, promised me, and I gave you my soul
But I shouldn't have to wander these streets alone
And I'm stone cold
I'm waiting for you.
I'm burning alive in this fire until You come through.
I'm waiting for you.
I'm burning a hole in my life until You come through.
What I want doesn't want to exist
What I need is the One I've missed
The way that my mind turns, the way that it twists
But the way that I need You is so hard to resist
I'm waiting for You.
I'm burning alive in this fire until you come through.
I'm waiting for You.
I'm waiting alone for You,
Outside.

Any Other Way
I don't really think there's any other way.
Sticks and stones may break unknowns but innovators die young
If you wanna survive then fall in line 'cause an imitator holds their tongue
Oh won't you say something that tickles my brain and makes me laugh again and again
Oh won't you be someone who soothes my soul and lays me down to rest in the holy of whole
I don't really think there's any other way to make you hear
Open your eyes
Don't you care about anything
I don't really think there's any other way to make you see
Open your mind
Nothing hidden is holy
Goodbye so long
Oh you won't know 'til I'm long
Gone gone gone gone gone gone gone
I don't really think there's any other way to make you hear
Open your eyes don't you care about anything
I don't really think there's any other way to make you see
Open your mind nothing hidden is holy
Any other way
Any other way

How To Make It
If you do what we tell ya we'll make you a star
If you repeat after me we'll make you a czar
put your faith in us, we'll lower the bar
we'll re-program your mind, 'til you don't know who you are
undress yourself as we revile your soul
your future fame is certain under our control
you'll do our every bid or send you to the grave
you know you know who we are
enjoy your role as slave
if you steal like we do we'll make you a star
if you kill like we do we'll make you a czar
you're in too deep, you can never leave
if you try to defect you'll find no reprieve
If you do what we tell ya we'll make you a star
If you repeat after me we'll make you a czar
put your faith in us, we'll lower the bar
we'll re-program your mind, 'til you don't know who you are
undress yourself as we revile your soul
your future fame is certain under our control
you'll do our every bid or send you to the grave
you know you know who we are

We Will Not Be Denied
White knuckles on the wheel
Spinning wheels keep wheels spinning
I seal the deal at the door
Kandy knights inside
I wanna take you to the floor
You dance like a superstar
Radiating who you are,
Who you are, who you are
I'm gonna let you devour me
Let the music take it's toll
While you swallow me whole
We will not be denied
We will not be denied
With my belt sidewinding to the floor
And your heels kicking high, you're so much lighter now
We just couldn't take it any more
I took you with me to the other side
We will not be denied
We will not be denied
When the kandy fills my head
And your body's on my mind
There is nothing in this world that will
Make me unkind
There is no formula for bliss
There's a recipe for this
I'm your cook, take a look
And now you're mine, all mine
Ah ah ah baby oh oh oh yeah
We will not be denied

Flesh And Bone
Burn the liars
Sound, hear that sound
On the battleground
From the blood red sky to the underground
Oh the bones that age and creak and ghosts that follow me
Blade, pretty blade
It's the one I made for the new crusade
Like a serenade of the edge that dives so deep
And ghosts that follow me
From the spark to the flame
From anonymous to fame
From the miracle of life to the threshold of shame
I'm falling and calling for you
Your words allure to bind and seize
So by the light of dawn I'll have you on your knees
Sound.
Hear that sound on the battleground
From the blood red sky to the underground
Oh the bones that age and creak and ghosts that follow me
Blade, pretty blade
It's the one I made For the new crusade
Like a serenade of the edge that dives so deep
And ghosts that follow me
Dance on a razor
Give the lawless one a shout
He settles each favour while he plans to cut you out
And yet you praise his name
While sheep sleep and graze
If you try to take our liberties away
We will take you down
From the spark to the flame
From anonymous to fame
From the miracle of life to the threshold of shame
I'm calling and falling for you
Your words allure to bind and seize
So by the light of dawn I'll have you on your knees
From the thrown to the grave
From a king to a slave
From the mightiest mountain to the loneliest cave
I'm falling and calling for you
You broke one million hearts so easily
And by the break of dawn
I'll have you on your knees
Have you on your knees
I'll have you on your knees

Antidote
Tell me something I already know
Whisper something beautiful to me before I go
Let me feel the joy that knows no home
So that I may remember you wherever I may roam
Let me feel ya
And you're my Antidote
Feel ya
And you're my Antidote
Let me feel yam, feel ya
Are you real?
I need to feel you running through my veins
Something more than chemicals to help me ease the pain
How could this placebo poison me
Give me your salvation to ease my mind and set me free
Let me feel ya
And you're my Antidote
Feel ya
And you're my Antidote
Let me feel ya, feel ya
Are you real?
It's such a good shot, gonna take you down
bang! bang! bang! gotta get 'em down
I know.
What's good for me?
I know what's good for me.
bang^bang^bang gonna push 'em down
And you're my Antidote
feel ya
It's such a good shot, gonna take you down
bang^bang^bang gotta get 'em down

Tombstone Soirée
Soirée. The ol' tombstone soirée.
There's a party at the disco. Ladies are free.
There's a bash south in Brighton.
A posteriori.
Could take the tube up to Stratford where everything's gray.
Better than a funeral from the bad MDA.
I think I'll shoot another whiskey. Won't let it go to waste.
The flavour's a reminder that I drink it for the taste.
But I know where I'm welcome night and day.
Meet me in Holloway
Roam to Holloway
Go home to Holloway where the spectres play
It's a graveyard party 'til the night turns to day
I'd invite all my friends but they've all passed away
I'm drinking with the spiders
And dancing with the ghosts, ok?
The ol' tombstone soirée.
50 thousands head stones
What a wonderful reprieve
The epitaph is wasted on those who only grieve
I'm rollin' with the poets
Ya know...the ones who are deceased
I'm talking to myself cuz nobody hear speaks
Meet me in Holloway
Roam to Holloway
Go home to Holloway where the spectres play
It's a graveyard party 'til the night turns to day
I'd invite all my friends but they've all passed away
I'm drinking with the spiders
And dancing with the ghosts, ok?
The ol' tombstone soirée.
It's a graveyard party 'til the night turns to day
I'd invite all my friends but they've all passed away
I'm drinking with the spiders
And dancing with the ghosts, ok?
The ol' tombstone soirée.
It's a graveyard party 'til the night turns to day
I'd invite all my friends but they've all passed away
If a little bit of darkness is headed your way it's okay
At the ol' tombstone soirée.
The ol' tombstone soirée.
The ol' tombstone soirée.

Never Felt So Good
You found another way to make it to the pinnacle
You left the losers and the haters behind
Don't have to tell them you can do it
Let them see it with their own two eyes
And if you falter in confusion that aint nothin'
You'll find another way the very next time
Where the air is even thinner
And conditions of a winner are prime
The heavens never felt so good
Looking down has never felt so good
You're so alone at the top of the world
You only see what you're bound to believe
You float away from the world
And believe in what you're bound to receive
There's nothing here to cloud your vision and your mission
There's no darkness 'cause the sun always shines
Feel the grace
Feel the power
Have the faith
Heed the warning signs
The heavens never felt so good
Looking down has never felt so good
The heavens never felt so good
So good
You found another way to make it to the pinnacle
You left the losers and the haters behind
Don't have to tell them you can do it
Let them see it through their own two eyes
And if you falter in confusion that aint nothin'
You'll find another way the very next time
Where the air is even thinner
And conditions of a winner are prime
Looking down has never felt so good
Felt so good
All that is against you
All that is for you
All that is against you-- all that is for you
Looking down has never felt so good
The heavens never felt so good
Looking down has never felt so good

The Hit
I put a hit out on you
On Poet's Grove
There's blood in St. Kilda
The warm summer breeze whispers
A lie in this Beaconsfield Grave,
A Cowderoy Slave
Caressing the blade as the albatross flies
Andrew the constable
Won't be held responsible
For holding you down as he carves out your eyes
A promise was made
The oath was obeyed
So we patiently wait for your delightful demise
Won't you come my way?
Now he's taking the train to the Southern Cross Station
And leaving cold as blood dries
Good lovers were cold-hearted killers
No butchering complete without a knife
I put a hit out on you
Won't you come my way
Searching phrases for names
He will hide in plain sight
Now he's taking his time exacting his ritual
He's grinding the blade to prepare for the rite.
I put a hit out on you
Won't you come my way
I put a hit out on you
Until the cleansing is through
I put a hit out on you
And bid the sweetest adieu
I put a hit out on you
Won't you come my way

Things That Go Bang (False Flag Mix)
[excepts from Ron Paul's speech to U.S. Congress on the passage of Bill 1867 ( Sections 1034, 1031 ) May 25, 2011]
The fate of the American Republic is now sealed.
The last nail is being driven into the coffin of the American Republic. Yet, Congress remains in total denial as our liberties are rapidly fading before our eyes. The process is propelled by unwarranted fear and ignorance as to the true meaning of liberty. It is driven by economic myths, fallacies and irrational good intentions. The rule of law is constantly rejected and authoritarian answers are offered as panaceas for all our problems.
Who would have ever thought that the current generation and Congress would stand idly by and watch such a rapid disintegration of the American Republic?
Our Presidents can now, on their own:
Order assassinations, including American citizens,
Operate secret military tribunals,
Engage in torture,
Enforce indefinite imprisonments without due process,
Order searches and seizures without proper warrants, gutting the 4th Amendment ...
...Our Presidents can now Wage war at will, treat all Americans as suspected terrorists at airports with TSA groping and nude x-raying,
and the Federal Reserve accommodates by codifying the funds needed and not paid for by taxation and borrowing, permitting runaway spending, endless debt, and special interest bail-outs.
The fate of the American Republic is now sealed.
Congress is planning to massively increase the war power of the President.
Congress, with bipartisan support, obsesses on how to expand the unconstitutional war power... the President already holds...
The current proposal would allow a President to pursue war any time, any place, for any reason, without Congressional approval...
Our Presidents can now, on their own:
Order assassinations, including American citizens,
Operate secret military tribunals,
Engage in torture,
Enforce indefinite imprisonments without due process,
Order searches and seizures without proper warrants, gutting the 4th Amendment ...
The fate of the American Republic is now sealed.
Many believe this would even permit military activity against American suspects here at home.
The 3 major reasons for our Constitutional Convention were to:
1. Guarantee free trade and travel among the states.
2. Make gold and silver legal tender and abolish paper money.
3. Strictly limit the Executive Branch’s authority to pursue war without Congressional approval.
But today:
1. Federal Reserve notes are legal tender, gold and silver are illegal.
2. The Interstate Commerce Clause is used to regulate all commerce at the expense of free trade among the states.
3. And now the final nail is placed in the coffin of Congressional responsibility for the war power, delivering this power completely to the President—a sharp and huge blow to the concept of our Republic.
In my view, it appears that the fate of the American Republic is now sealed—unless these recent trends are quickly reversed. The saddest part of this tragedy is that all these horrible changes are being done in the name of patriotism and protecting freedom. They are justified by good intentions while believing the sacrifice of liberty is required for our safety. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The fate of the American Republic is now sealed.
Without this understanding our endless, unnamed, and undeclared wars will continue and our wonderful experiment with liberty will end.

Kontrollier Die Kontrollierenden
Once you start to slip that they will catch you like a trusted friend.
They'll tell you that you owe them your life, the life you can't defend.
The time is drawing near, my dear. They told us, "Freedom for peace"!
We let those bastards through our own front door
And now we're on our knees.
It's time to take this country back, and the time is now.
Power to the people then, and power to us now
The politicians come and go,
But the people have a right know that time is running
Out for the kings who want control.
Now let the blood flow.
We keep our eyes on freedom
You can’t hold us down
We are a revolution on this holy ground
We’ll take the leaders to the market square
Replace their throne with the electric chair
It's time to take this country back, and the time is now.
Power to the people then, and power to us now
The politicians come and go,
But the people have a right know that time is running
Out for the kings who want control.
The politicians come and go,
But the people have a right know that time is running
Out for the kings who want control.

Belladonna Dream
In days black as coal I have surely lost control
I need you now, cover me.
With mind full of gold and a silver tongue so cold
Don't let me down, just cover me.
Sing a song of autumn for me, love
Wrap your arms around me in the silent setting sun
Let the water drown us in its flood
I don't want to let you go
Because I know you'll slip away from me
If I ever lose my way,
Will I have the courage to say,
"I need you now."
In winter's dream so deep
Will I ever break this sleep
I need you now, don't let me down
Sing a song of autumn for me, love
Wrap your arms around me in the silent setting sun
Let the water drown us in its flood
I don't want to let you go
Because I know you'll slip away from me
You slip away from me
Slip away from me
Away from me, Belladonna dream

Calling. Can’t you hear me calling
Give it back, why did you take it away
Can’t you see I never wanted to be on my knees
Now it hurts, it hurts when you feed it to me.
Won’t you leave me, leave me confused if you please.
All that you give, all that you glean
Makes you kick, makes you suck, makes you scream
Like a witch who grovels for gold
Lusting power to give up her soul
Calling. Can’t you hear me calling
So it’s true, won’t you tell me how I should approve
Won’t you trap me so I cannot move
Can you force me to speak what you say
Oh can you show me no truth I can prove
Calling. Can’t you hear me calling

I wait at the station amidst the rush hour tide
The sea of people float around me deep and wide
I never saw you leaving
I searched every concourse
Memories are deceiving, especially yours
You found completion in a feeling never felt
You looped the belt around your neck and hung yourself
Your soul was searching before your final choice
You found completion, but you never found your voice
D'aimer et d'être aimé
Love and be loved

Fade Into Forever
And the wine it tastes her
The wine it rapes her
The wine erases the memories of home
The drink from the well releases
All the curses and diseases
All you’ve swallowed is fatal for sure
And you won’t find a cure
And the knife it teaches
Fatal blade it preaches
When the steel finds the grinding stone
And finds a new home
And the earth receives her
And decay depletes her
And the seasons fade into forever
Forever alone
All your fruits of labour
Wouldn’t cleanse that favour
Murderous guilt takes over your mind
And darkens your soul
So the bullet finds you
From the guilt that blinds you
And the darkness that covers your mind
Has taken your soul
And the earth receives you
And decay depletes you
And the seasons fade into forever
Forever alone

For many decades now the Pacific Northwest has been a fresh source of innovative and boundary-pushing music, and since 2010 Seattle native and musical veteran, John Morgan Reilly, has been continuing that tradition through RxGF with his eccentric brand of songwriting.
Any Other Way is the 3rd full-length release from Seattle band, RxGF, and it's been well worth their evolving efforts to arrive at an exciting new kind of sound that has set them off into an inspirational loop. Their recent dark wave indie electro exploration into the realm of all things shadowy and sublime is both futuristic and epic, precise yet serrated, current, and edgy.
RxGF is the preferred and truncated name that translates to "Radioactive X Girlfriend" (for those that may be inclined to go all CosPlay or goth on us). Primarily driven by producer and Seattle native, John Morgan Reilly, the band went live this year performing various shows in the Northwest with 20 year old vocalist, Angeline Schaaf. Reilly had been auditioning female lead vocalists for over a year before discovering Schaaf, and her brooding melodies certainly accelerate and embody Reilly's evolving vision.
Schaaf's voice is an authentic yet almost imperious assault on everything an audience might take for granted producing raw, saturated, and passionate vocal stabs that somehow gracefully cascade around the band's heavy low-end keyboards and primal rhythms. Any Other Way is Schaaf's first full-length record with the band, having released a Single (Belladonna Dream) with RxGF in 2013.
The record was approached from an electro-industrial vantage point, yet prominently incorporates live drums with heavy tribal aggression. Reilly maintains that he's finally found the sound that RxGF will explore for quite some time. The 13 song record is an ominous group of anthems that blend together crushing drums and vocals fortified with layered electronics and beats. Much of the enthusiastic "whoa who is this??!" response to their live sound has validated what Schaaf and Reilly believed when they first began working together in early 2013, and sonically their inauspicious and futuristic songs could naturally be an Orwellian soundtrack to a Blade Runner remake or just a series of stand-alone cult classics.
Like the first two RxGF albums, Reilly teamed up again with producer and fellow multi-instrumentalist, Jonathan Plum, on many of the songs, but this time Reilly handled the engineering, production, and mixing for over half of the record on his own.
When asked to describe their new record, Reilly mused, "Imagine the Superstar Destroyer, a monolithic and dirty old space ship several kilometers long lumbering through space at light speed. That's the feel and the sound of many of these new songs. You have these dark electronic layers with huge drums and dirtied-up vocals. Nothing is clean. The circuitry still works but the protective coating has melted...the wiring is a bit charred up everywhere and that's by design. The closest to commercial mainstream we get could be likened to Princess Leia and Han Solo operating the Millennium Falcon. It may not be cosmetically perfect, but it will hit light speed in hyper drive operated by two like-minded pilots with very different artistic backgrounds. I'm proud that this record won't be too familiar of a sound to anything that's out there right now, and hopefully it will stretch the listener's imagination and give them some insight into what's possible when you blend together diametrically opposing sounds and ideas. I believe that what we're doing here is innovative, and I'm excited to continue our deep space exploration with this sound."
RxGF's sound has evolved dramatically since the guitar-heavy indie debut of 2011's Art of Splitting, fully transitioning in 2012 to electro-folk with All Blade No Handle, and now to a new kind of electro drum-heavy dark wave that would now be unrecognizable as the same band. Past RxGF lineups have included supporting musical contributions by prolific co-producer Jonathan Plum, Dave Rosser (Twilight Singers, Afghan Whigs), Davey Brozowski (Catheters, Tall Birds, Black Whales), Josh Greenberg (The Ruby Doe), Jessika Kitzman (Seeing Blind), Matthew Burgess, Bill Ibsen (Remission), Philana Goodrich, and even New Zealand pop star Daniel Bedingfield.
released November 1, 2016
